Our 7 year old grand daughter is always writing. Has a little notebook she uses as her diary. I saw this, and knew she would like the locking idea. It is such a pretty book, and appears high quality.

She loves her pen and the bracelet too. She sat up on the sofa yesterday after school and wrote for over an hour. She had fun hiding the keys, and wanted to take it to bed. Had to nix that idea, as it was a school night. I asked her if she liked it, and she said "No, I looooove it."
